Dreams of Glory
General Robert E. Lee
The painting "Dreams of Glory" was conceived by the artist to depict General Lee later in life. Long after the war is over General Robert Edward Lee's thoughts drift back in time to his early days of glory. The great general has fallen asleep. Above his sleeping figure are visions of better days. His dreams are "Dreams of Glory".
